Fans of the old game are excitedly diving back into gaming and realizing that they have some catching up to do. The popularity of the game has endured over the years, with used copies of NCAA Football 14 becoming valuable items. The new version reflects significant shifts in college football, including the College Football Playoff. Additionally, college football players are now able to receive payment for their name, image, and likeness rights, and every player who opted in to appear in the game received a minimum of $600. The success of the game for EA remains to be seen, but there is anticipation for strong sales and potential cannibalization of EA’s Madden franchise.
